what are the best weapons for an elementalist?
also, where can i get them?

There is no such thing as "best weapon" in Guild Wars. There is a great variety of weapons for you to pick from. Basically you want a max damage (11-22) wand/scepter and a max offhand (+12 energy) or a max staff (11-22 damage +10 energy). Try to get ones that have a low requirement in the field or school of magic that you want to use, ie fire magic, water magic etc... Generally req. 9 is the lowest you will find for max dmg. weapons. Then you need to get the Inscriptions, Wrappings, and Heads (staff only) that give you the bonuses you want the most. All that is basic, what you need to do is decide what skin (design or look) you want on your weapons. That is soley up to you.

*the cheapest solution for you is to use Green weapons, they are always max damage etc. and req.9 the only problem is you cannot change anything on them later*
